Royal Athenaeum Suites, Aberdeen
A Great Location
We were attending a conference at the Conference Center, but stayed in town, which was much much better as we had access to all restaurants, bars etc. These suites are great, as you can do your own breakfast if you want (and potentially other meals, although we never did), and there is a washing machine, so we could get up to date with laundry---just remember that there is no dryer, so you have to drape your washed clothes around the apartment to dry, but they do indeed dry. The location of these suites is great---for getting to the station, to catch buses, to walk to places to eat. Definitely would return if we are ever back in Aberdeen

Best service
We had a great stay! Room service was amazing!! There was a washing machine in the room and when we called asking how to use it, they came quickly to the room to explain and went and got a drying rack for our clothes. Very friendly!!

A perfect place in the heart of Aberdeen
We had a great time in our lovely flat at Royal Athenium Suites. I was just the right size for the two of us and included an entrance hall, a spacious bedroom, a bathroom with a superb shower and a beautiful lounge/kitchen (fully equipped). There is underfloor heating and when we had difficulty adjusting the temperature, the staff were most helpful. After that we had no problems, it was very cosy. The flat was tastefully furnished and decorated, with some really pleasant corners for reading or listening to music. The staff at reception were lovely. We arrived very early in the morning, but could go to our flat straight away. There is always someone available if you need assistance. The location in the centre of Aberdeen is brilliant. It's just five minutes from the train station, almost next door to the Tourist Information, which is really handy. They are very knowledgeable and give lots of good tips. There are plenty of shops, cafés, bars and restaurants nearby. It is quiet at night, so guests will get a good night's sleep. We will definitely return. A tip for a lovely excursion is to take the bus x7 to see Dunnottar castle and then take the coastal walk into Stonehaven. It's an easy bus journey of about 40 minutes and definitely worth it. The setting of the castle against the backdrop of the sea is dramatic. Stonehaven is a lovely little town. Try the Villa Café, they do really nice cakes, soups and sandwiches.
