Epic experience at Ace New York
Excellent service with every interaction, super spacious room with an amazingly comfortable bed and great shower (not to mention the guitar and record player), the bar scene is always epic, having Stumptown in the lobby is so great. Love the retail and dining options. Another fantastic Ace Hotel experience.

Unique, and full of life
Great, unique, boutique hotel. Pillows and mattresses were suuuuuper soft and the water was a little tricky, but it is an old building so that is completely understandable. I'd definitely stay again, but maybe ask for a firmer pillow.

Hip Convenient Stay in NY
Ace Hotel was perfect for our trip to NY. I was very impressed with the level of customer service throughout our whole trip. The location was great and close to the subway and close to great Ktown eateries. The rooms are on the darker side, but it's part of the cool vibe I guess lol.

This place tries way to hard to be hipster. It's very taste specific and I think all the dark paint, loud lettering, poor lighting and awkward room layouts make it feel dated and gloomy. The restaurant downstairs was a big disappointment. That said, I liked the location and the service was pretty good except for the front door folks. They won't call you a taxi if you need one but they will wait to hail one for you, which makes no sense during rush hour in NYC.
