The location of the hotel is very convenient, the property is modern, well maintained and very nice and the staff is professional, helpful and friendly. Great stay and I will return the next visit to Budapest. The breakfast was also good, and the dinner I had at the restaurant right across the street was the best I had during my trip. I could not ask for more.

I stayed here 10 years ago and always hoped to return. I was so glad I did! I lived in Budapest 20 years ago and visit yearly, so I can say I know the city well! This hotel is located in an excellent part of the city, yet in a quiet neighborhood. Hotel Palazzo Zichy is upscale, yet has a relaxed/comfortable feel. The staff is what makes this place stand apart from other similar hotels in the city. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect! The rooms are very comfortable and the amenities are wonderful! I am already planning my next visit.

3 nights at the palace Zichy
Place that has a lot of history and is a good blend between historic and modern. The gym and spa are closed which immediately made me feel cheated out of my money. Room cards malfunctioned too many times to count and spending 3 nights on the first floor but having to always wait for the elevator made it very annoying. Breakfast was mediocre at best but the free cooled water and coffee in the lobby/room sort of make that less of a downside. The staff were very helpful and professional on the other hand and we were allowed a late checkout, which is why my review stays mostly positive. I liked the quiet area of the hotel as well.

Location is great, 1/2 mike from central market. Located on very quiet small street, with several great places to eat or gave a drink within one city block. Very good breakfast, sausages, bacon, eggs, bakery items, various breads, 5 different juices, famous Hungarian salamis etc. not to forget strong coffee! Front staff very helpful to arrange a day at Gellért spa or taxi service and advising ATM locations with good exchange rates. Super clean rooms. Absolutely will book again when we return to Budapest.
