Perfect ski getaway
Great hotel! Very modern, close to the ski base area, good breakfast. The pool and jacuzzi area is huge, and there is a separate spa area that’s adults-only, quiet, and quite nice with a Finnish hot tub, sauna, steam room, and warm room. The staff was all lovely and the skiing was great - I’m looking forward to returning!

Perfect ski location at Norway's biggest resort
Great reception staff! Faulty pull down bed meant some fixings to be done and the staff manager got us a free room for one night (we were three in a deluxe apartment but one bed didn't work) - all of her own recommendation and with no complaining from me! Great breakfast and great food choice at the restaurants. Only miss was that the pub is only open from Tue-Sat 6pm-midnight - even when it was full to the brim due to school breaks! That was a bit surprising to me they kept it closed. Pool area for the kids and sauna included in room rent. Game room (air hockey, pool, mario cart etc) available for tokens and not too crowded. Bowling to rent per hour. A little kids play corner too. Excellent family hotel! The hotel is ski-in ski-out and literally on a green slope. Scoot down and lift up and you are at the main area with all the slopes and lifts. Great restaurants and cafes in the slopes so no need to go all the way back down to hotel. Perfect for skiers in the winter and I assume for mountain bikers and hikers in the summer. I was surprised at the prices. It is Norway so not cheap to start with but it wasnt pirate-stealing prices I thought on the food. Alco is always expensive so I'm used to it. Remember you can bring alco and have in your room but not allowed anywhere else on the property (bo corkage either). Only negative - Beware of the half-board option as that actualky turns out more expensive than if paying each food item separately!! True rip-off in my book.

Very Good8.0
Overall I had a good stay. The staff I interacted with were friendly and professional. The room was spacious, nicely furnished, and clean. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet and it seemed to have a good selection. I was in town for an event so I didn't try any of the hotel's other facilities. The one problem I had was that I had booked a room with a king bed and ended up with a room that had two single beds pushed together. I didn't think much about it until after I had gone to sleep, my sleep was interrupted a few times by the beds sliding apart. I was asked how I slept at checkout and when I mentioned the issue they apologized and said they would have been able to move me if I had brought up the issue when I checked in.
