Very Good
Phenomenal location in downtown Long Beach and pleasant service from staff, but the rooms…
Cool place....a sort of European experience.....in a good way.

Shoe box room, terrible front desk and no bath!
Front desk was not accommodating at all and then tried to get me to leave in hour after checking in saying I was running up and down the stairs. She claimed people were complaining. The building is from the 1920's what do you expect? Stairs creaked like you could fall through. If you want to stay in a shoe box size room come here ! NOT TO MENTION THE NEON SIGN SAYS "BATH IN EVERYROOM " and not 1 room has a bathtub! Never again

Nice clean little place in a great location.
Well thought out use of an old hotel. Three story walk up with very small rooms - bathroom is a tiny room separated by a sliding glass wall. Unit Doors have card style door locks. WiFi, Tv and telephone in rooms. Location was great for me, a quick walk to the convention center. Train stop on Pacific is a two minute walk - one day I rode it up to Downtown LA. Cost me 2.00 for TAP card and 35 cents for the senior rate. Uber’s and Yellow Cabs are all around. $12 parking on site. Minimal spread of mini muffins and Kerrig coffee and juice at breakfast. Wine happy hour at night but the scene was very low key. Owner is on site frequently and seems to genuinely care for his place. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Do not like the Glade plug ins in the hallways. Shower could use a hose. Air shaft screens need more frequent cleaning.

Over all it was good but I wasn’t expecting it would be in homeless area. The personnel were so helpful.
