Conveniently located hotel0
Enjoyed our stay in Cobb which is rich in Titanic history. Staff is very friendly and the hotel is dated but has the charm of the past. Our room was above the bar so on music night I couldn't sleep until 2:00. I suggest the sea view rooms but not over the bar. Love the convenient location.

Commodore in Cobh, Ireland
Not the best hotel or service. Reception desk was not friendly. Never even looked up and said anything as we passed on our way in or out. Irish people are generally so friendly and talkative and helpful but not here. Beautiful hotel outside and in main areas but shabby rooms, uncomfortable beds.

Ireland vacation
A bit surprised. Staff acted as if we were an imposition. Room had paint peeling from the ceiling in the bathroom, carpet was unclean and moving on the floor. It took almost 5 minutes for the water to begin getting warm for a shower. I truly believe that they felt they were at the end of the tourist sea son and just did not care. Parking is at a premium. At this point I cannot recommend this hotel which is truly unfortunate because of it's history. Reason we selected in the first place. When we left they also asked for us to pay for they room again even though we had already paid for it through hotel.com. Our feeling is Give this hotel a pass.

Very disappointed.
The hotel is nice. The town is not worth staying in. It might be worth an hour or two visit. Over half the shops are closed and abandoned. There are only three dinner serving restaurants, and they are reservation only. Very disappointed in my stay. Will not stay in cobh again. Stay in Cork, and you can visit Cobh for a quick drink.

Visiting Cobh
This hotel has 150 years of history, including acting as hospital when Lusitania was sunk by German U-Boat in 1915. Sited on Cobh waterfront opposite Titanic Exhibit (as Cobh was last port of call for Titanic). Friendly staff and excellent breakfast.
