The Moonrise shines above all others!
The unique vide of this hotel is so amazing! Between the moon/space themed items tucked in every corner, the amazing light fixtures that are everywhere and the easy walking distance to the Delmar Loop, this establishment gets my highest recommendation!

Everything was perfect except
Overall it was A great stay. The area was amazing! Walkable area and the hotel had a unique charm. I will definitely stay again. The only thing I would complain about was when I came back for the evening, someone’s car had been vandalized. When you arrive, front desk staff tells you were to park. Everything in back, but there a valet labeled area…I told security but was told only the valet area is theirs…but assuming it’s for valet only. Then once on the inside, front desk staff says on yeah that’s not our lot either. There isn’t enough parking for hotel guests but they could expand parking and security. I spent a majority of my night watching my vehicle. Other than that the hotel itself and the area were awesome. There’s even a rooftop bar. ❤️❤️

Great hotel and very pet friendly.
The hotel was wonderful. We happen to be traveling with our dog, and the hotel not only welcomed her, but gave her some treats and had a bowl available for her if needed. The pet fee was quite reasonable, compared to other hotels we researched.

All good (as usual) with the following exception: The desk chose to start ringing the room phone and my cell phone in the morning (9:00 exactly) telling me I had to move my car ASAP so they could clean the parking lot. The interruption and subsequent loud power washing destroyed what I hoped would have been a slow, quiet, relaxing morning. Certainly not a dealbreaker. Moonrise is a great place in an excellent location.
