Second stay at this hotel, very convenient to Shin station in Osaka. Breakfast is a delight.

Good, but...
Good hotel to use if you are planning to use the train station to travel around to other places. We arrived at Shin-Osaka and had a difficult time trying to find which exit from the train station to go through. When it came time to locate the hotel itself, you really needed to know the area. It was located at the entrance to a small alley way with a small sign pointing down the alley. The room was spacious, but I don't know why they had to put four beds in a room for three people.

Good place for the price... needs softer beds...
The only complaints that I really have are as follows: Difficult to find, it's in an alley, and EVERY hotel in the area has "Shin Osaka" in the name. They even have a hotel by the same owner less than a block away by the same name, just ends with "Annex" instead of "Honkan". Very confusing. The mattress was like sleeping on the floor. Not like a nice fluffy carpeted floor, more like a wood floor. The pillow wasn't any better. In fact, I had to put the pillow under my side for support and use both a folded up blanket (hotel-provided) AND my travel neck pillow for my head. The air conditioner, set at max and turned to the lowest temperature, was insufficient, even for the tiny room. Other than these things, the staff was great, the hotel was a great location (once you found it) three blocks from Shin Osaka Station, there are plenty of places to eat around there. They had good wifi speeds, too. I was able to watch movies online with no problem.

Good quality hotel, close to station
This is a really clean, comfortable hotel. The staff are great, the rooms are relatively small, but not unreasonable for Japan. The breakfast was good, with Japanese and Western options, unlimited coffee and it has a nice lounge area. It's 200 mn from Shin-Osaka station. This is handy for shinkansen but to see anything else in Osaka or get to restaurants you'll have to catch the JR to Umeda (10 mins) or other parts. There isn't much in the way of restaurants or entertainment in the area.

Careful on the name
There are a few hotels with similar name, make sure you get the full exact name and location map. You can end up on a different station. This hotel provide breakfast for free. You can store your luggage with them after check out.
