Great property. Newer, bar/restaurant inside, close to great food and things to do. Staff lacked though. A bit uppity, stiff, and not very hospitable. From the front desk to the bar. As if assisting guests was an inconvenience, which is more common these days from some workers. The kind of people that don’t acknowledge you’re even there for 30-60 seconds when you first walk up and no one is in-line in front of you.
Waited when I first checked in with no one in front of me. Stood there for a long time with not even a “Hi, be with you in just a second.” Walked up to the desk, waited, and after about 15 seconds, slowly walked away from the desk and stood. Then, eventually, in a chipper voice, the lady looks up and says “hi, how can I help you?” Called down at like 7am for a late check out (just an hour). Had a 4 minute conversation, in my groggy state of being, with a staff member after they asked all sorts of questions about me needing an extra hour and requested my phone number so they could call me if they had to overturn their decision. I was like “you have all of my info already. Can I have the extra hour or not?” Half way through it felt like maybe they were just messing with me because it made no sense.
Overall though, I’d stay again. Just a crummy, lack luster staff.
