About MB Hotels, London

Budget hotel providing free parking and breakfast

Cricklewood calling
MB Hotels is a friendly Greater London base in the northern borough of Brent. Cricklewood is largely residential and a 30-minute drive from Luton Airport. Hampstead Tube Station is a 30-minute walk away and picks up the Northern Line – a fast track to the heart of central London.

Sports, gigs, and shops
Guests relax here, away from the bright lights of the big city. Wembley Stadium is only a 15-minute drive away and plays host to large-scale football games and concerts. It's a 25-minute journey on the train and Tube to reach the shops of Bond Street.

Free parking
MB Hotels is a frill-free, bed-and-breakfast venture. It's good value for money and guests appreciate the free continental breakfast and the parking. Families should bear in mind that children under 10 are not permitted.

Traditional interior
The focus here is on value for money. Guestrooms are en suite and, as well as a comfy place to recharge, they offer a hair dryer, iron, and TV. These may not be the most modern of interiors, but guests appreciate their cleanliness.

Outstanding hotel staff
The hotel was on a corner of a busy street. This was more like a house converted to a hotel or like a bed and breakfast. You can tell it's an older facility but well kept. There are no a/c but fans. It was cool in the room so it didn't matter. The English breakfast was wonderful. The bus station was right across the street. But what's outstanding about this place are the staff. Friendly & very polite. They go way beyond their means just to satisfy their guests. I hope their boss recognize their efforts.

Fun Experience B&B Style
My kids and I stayed for a few days prior to the beginning of a business portion of the trip. I wanted to be relatively close to central London to sight see. I wanted my kids to have the opportunity to stay at a B&B which is really what the MB Hotel is. It is not fancy so dont expect that. The building is an older large house that has several rooms being used as a hotel. It is on the corner of two main roads and there is some noise from the streets but we were usually so tired from sightseeing we didn't care. The neighborhood is OK. We felt safe when walking about during the day. It has all of the basics for someone who needs a decent place to stay at a reasonable price considering you are in London. There is a large grocery store about 10 minutes walk from the MB. To get to Central London to see the sights we walked about 10 mins to the train station, caught a train to the first stop and got on the Tube for the rest of the journey each morning and evening. We had a great time and would stay there again. The breakfast was hot and delicious(full English breakfast served every morning). The room was not what we are accustomed to in the US as a motel/hotel room so don't expect that. It was clean and decent and that is what we were looking for. It was a fun experience. A sincere 'thank you' to the staff!

Noisy and needs renos but lovely hosts.
This place is conveniently located close to local buses, the tube and M1. It is located on an extremely noisy corner. For non-Londoners, you cannot pay with cash to take the bus and need to get a bus pass or Oyster card from merchant down the street which is about a 10 to 15 min walk away. It is located in the better half of a duplex which is greatly in need of repair. The first impression when you walk in is not favourable. The walls need repair, the carpeting and all flooring need replacing. Our room was clean and tidy, but the flooring is worn, the throws over the beds were threadbare and you do not want to open windows because of the exhaust from vehicles outside. There was a kitchen type chair at a built in desk and this was the only place to sit in the room. In the bathroom, you had to prime the toilet so that it would flush and the tub is very high, so not the easiest to get in and out of. In the mornings, you are served a full English breakfast, which is great. The hosts were kind and friendly and they do provide secure parking. This could be a convenient and comfortable place to stay if needed renovations were made.

Cheap but very comfortable and cheerful
Stayed here when we saw Stone Roses at Wembley. Run by Extremely nice Korean people. No frills but Very comfortable and clean. Breakfast lovely. One tip though, get an Oyster card for travel as you will need a train ( and possibly a bus) to get back to St Pancras and London centre. And the traveling can get expensive.
