Great stay...2 weddings in just as many days.
Everything was great with the room. I had a standard room with a small balcony, city view which overlooked a schoolyard. I loved hearing the kids playing! The room was great...loved how dark it would get with the curtains pulled at night...I slept like a baby. For me, the size was perfect. It was maintained and offered a lot of things big resorts do but on a smaller scale. I loved that about this property. The ONLY potential negative, and it’s not big, are the weddings. Because it’s not big, if a wedding is happening, pretty much everyone on the property knows about it. I was there for a long weekend so there might not be as much of that during the week but it was a bit disruptive. Not a big deal but something to keep in mind if you like sitting on the beach.

GREAT value for the $ - location! Breakfast!
Everything about this hotel was top-notch and it was a GREAT value for the money. The beach club location is of course amazing. The room was spacious and clean. The food was FABULOUS - we did the breakfast only and buffet was one of the best I've ever been to at any resort. I can see why people do the all-inclusive there. One thing was that the main pool was under construction but I fault myself for not calling and asking -- I booked a hotel one time years ago that was under construction and I should know better to ALWAYS call and ask if there is any construction or a biker conference or whatever at the hotel. Since Isla Mujeres isn't a place you hang at the pool anyway, it didn't affect our stay but could have had we been there for more nights but we were only there for one, we joined other couples at a different hotel for rest of stay. But our one night at the Privilege was great.

The staff makes you feel like family- the rooms are beautiful and clean. The food is absolutely amazing! I truly recommend this hotel - It’s in a central location near shopping and other activists - LOVED it.

Less than expected
First of all, the main pool didn't work, second of all we were assigned to a room with a view to the cemetry (superior room with whirpool tub) and the receptionist named javier was really rude and not understanding. When people make reservations they ahould be told if rhe view is to the cemetry/school and whether the pool is working or not.

Very Good8.0
Great beach and town location
We enjoyed our stay here. Our room was very large and clean. Service was great. The food could have been a bit better. I wish there was more Mexican food at the resort, not so much American food. IT a great location which, like all places near here, can get loud outside once in a while. The hotel has great soundproofing though. We could barely hear it in our room.
