Stay somewhere else
Great location! Hotel was mediocre though. Our room was not ready for check in, the official check in time was 3:00pm and they really make you wait until 3pm on the dot. This is rather annoying since we had been traveling all morning. Room service was outrageously expensive, dont use, just order from one of the many nearby restaurants for delivery. The bathroom didnt really have a solid door, so everything can be heard throughout the room....kinda gross. The hotel gym is a joke. It was less than 5 pieces of equipment, its all very dirty and just uncomfortable. Overall this hotel has a great location but i would suggest going somewhere else a bit cleaner and with a better room setup.

Great stay, not so great valet
We loved our spacious corner room at Hotel Zero 1. Plenty of space for us both to unpack and get comfortable. The shower was a bit small, which is really the only issue about the room. Regarding the valet parking, it took about an hour for us to receive our car after requesting, which was slightly inconvenient as we had a long drive ahead of us. It seems like the valet system is pretty inefficient. Otherwise no complaints - very enjoyable stay!

A Lovely First Impression of Montreal
For me, an important quality in a hotel is being able to transform the room however you need for your stay - whether you're looking to sleep in late and enjoy vacation or just have a place to rest quickly between your adventures. I had a lovely 5 night stay at Zero1, and felt at home during my visit. The decor is modern, the bed comfortable, and the room had several kitchen amenities (fridge, microwave, kitchen sink in addition to the bathroom sink). There were a few small hiccups (there was no power when I checked in on my first night but that impacted other parts of the city too, and the staff was very calm, friendly and pleasant during the hour without power). And my one issue is that the elevator seems to retain the smell of whatever was just in it a little too well (smoker was just in the elevator? Someone just ordered sushi? You will know when you get in) Really though, I had a fantastic stay, and I look forward to returning next time I'm in Montreal.

We had a great stay! Cute boutique hotel, perfect views of downtown, lovely service. The place isn't brand new but by no means run down; trendy and fun, great price. We did the valet parking for an extra 30 a night and had no trouble. The restaurant/bar was also unexpectedly excellent. Location was very central.
