Roman Inn
We stayed one night. Well located, clean but basic.

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel and were thrilled with the AC in the hot weather. Room was nice and clean and quiet despite the street nearby. Breakfast was mediocre but certainly edible. It was nearby to things enough that we could easily get to attractions and a nice hotel. If I were going to stay in Rome again I might stay somewhere closer to tourist attractions, but this hotel would certainly still be in the running.

Fantastic Value
This is actually a guest house, but the room we stayed in was excellent - very clean, modern and spacious at a great price. Near Termini (Rome train station) which was very convenient as we had an early morning train after the night we stayed there. Checking in was a little bit of a hassle as you have to contact the hotel in advance of arriving since they don't have a front desk (aka - someone always there), and we tried calling the number listed in our reservation confirmation, but whoever was answering didn't speak English. It wasn't until we went to the hotel website and found an email address that we were able to get a hold of them - would have been way more helpful to have their email info in out reservation info.

This was a wonderful B&B. The room was a good size for my son and I. I had some trouble calling to set up a check in time because if my unfamiliarity with european phone numbers. I arrived at 1pm and they were there to check me in, thankfully. There us someone there from breakfast through about 1pm. Breakfast was good - cereal, meat, cheese, bread, jam, yogurt, coffee, tea and juice. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The neighborhood was fine. We had no issues with noise. For the price and location, this is a great place. The only minus was the shower head needed replacement, but I consider that a minor issue. It didn't stop us from taking a shower. The lift is very tiny but there is one. I would gladly recommend a stay here to my friends and family.

Do not stay here! Water problems!
Our stay started out great. Room was clean front desk lady was nice.On our second day we woke up to no water. Which sucked when you could not take a shower, brush teeth, or go to bathroom. Front desk lady said she contacted the owner. She also told us there was a dispute in the building and the lady that lived on another floor was purposely shutting off water. I don't know if that was true but after postponing our plans for hours the water came back on. We didn't make a huge deal about it because we are not like that. Then on our last night the water went out again. Since no one is there at night we had to call the emergency number. A lady Judy answered. She was nice however had no authority to do anything about it but tell us she contacted the owner. We had to leave on a train early the next morning so no water was an option. We had to get another hotel at 11:00 at night with no help from the owner. We left a note at the front desk requesting a reimbursement for the last night and got no response. We have also emailed them with no response. Now we have to get the credit card company involved. The has been a horrible experience. Don't stay here.
