Close enough to LGA
Good place to stay to be near enough to LGA. A quick car ride to airport and apparently a fairly easy train ride as well. Nice property inside but typically sketchy area outside. Helpful desk service.

Highly Disappointed !! :(
Not at all what I was expecting or what the pictures portrayed. For the price I paid at least breakfast should have been included. The location was a bit strange considering everything surrounding the hotel were residential buildings. I was placed on the 10th floor and the views were not as anticipated. I booked this hotel to celebrate my birthday with my significant other and I was not pleased. Hotel definitely needs to be updated both on the outside and inside. My tv did not work neither did the remote. Shower door was broken and did not close. I would not book this hotel again for future trips to New York.

Avoid if possible
I don't recommend this hotel because 1 - location is not as convenient, but ok. 2 - We had some leftovers from dinner. I sent my daughter to front desk for a fork. She came back empty handed. The front desk staff told her they had none. None? They have a restaurant in the lobby, a big banner in front of the elevator telling customers to start the day with a good breakfast. And they don't have a fork. What do their customers eat with in the restaurant? 3 - some staff should not be in hospitality industry. By 10am, housekeeping was knocking on door. After we told her we were not ready, she kept knocking. I opened the door to tell her maybe 10 more minutes. She said OK. When we opened the door again, she was there. So I told her to come back later. She then gave us a serious attitude asking why I told her 10 minutes, she was waiting at the door. I asked her if she didn't have any other rooms to attend to and it's ok that I didn't want to bring my luggages to breakfast. This place just won the worst Holiday Inn award.
