Too much noise, not enough care
Room was damaged: linoleum coming up in bathroom, glass shelf not attached to wall well and not flat because of that. Table in bathroom too small for "kits" for two. Noise from bar much too loud and did not stop until 10:30pm.Too expensive for what it gives.

Not worth the price!
The first shock was no television. At the price we paid, we'd expect a television before we'd expect a small fridge. We went to hang some clothes up for the next day and discovered there's no place to hang any clothes. Seriously how expensive are those metal bars and a set of dollar store hangers? We've been able to hang our clothes at every cheap hotel we've stayed at. Next, we were awoken very early in the morning by people right outside our door getting coffee and a continental breakfast. They weren't loud. Besides the loud road noise from highway 1, however, the hotel is very quiet so you hear every little noise. Yes as one would gather this is not a good place for a romantic night with your spouse. On the way up the stairs to the rooms, one passes a nice big room with a table and chairs that I never saw anyone use. Why not move the breakfast down there so the 4 rooms at the top of the stairs aren't disturbed when people get breakfast? There was only half a roll of toilet paper with no spare roll. I can't imagine going down and asking the bartender for more toilet paper in front of everyone sitting at the bar. The room was overall clean but there was black mold on the inside and outside bottom of the shower. The one saving grace was the bartender was very friendly and helpful. For the price we paid we definitely expected more.

3rd time here. Like staying in your grandparents spare room. Comfy, old school, and great homecooking downstairs with a great friendly bar.

Very Good8.0
Nice place & people, I just wish dinners served more nights as very good menu selection and good prices on oysters. I under stand the limited dates.
