Upscale beachfront resort with restaurant, near West Railay Beach
It was supposed to be a romantic getaway far away from cars and people. It’s even worse,…

My only complaint is the layout. I didn’t like having to walk down a path on the backside…

One suggestion is that to reach Railay area you arrive at the East beach, because there is a jetty so that you avoid getting wet. The room is fairly maintained. Since it is in tropical zone, insects such as ants and mosquitoes are inevitable, as well as monkeys, which will steal your welcome fruits! Room is large and with a small garden and jacuzzi. But the jacuzzi is useless to me since there is a swimming pool where the better view is. In the north of the hotel there is a bar street and among the East beach there are many restaurants. Convenient environment. The service of reception desk is full of passion. And there is even a girl can speak Mandarin. Another thing to mention is that my stay is in late June 2017 and there is still construction works in process.

My only complaint is that they told us every half hour that we could check in in 10 minutes. I'll admit, we were trying to check in early, but there's no need to lie. If the room is not ready, it's not ready. Wifi was not great in the room, but it did work somewhat. The room was GREAT! The only thing missing is some kind of activity for when it's raining (which is often). I definitely recommend this place!! And it's totally worth the extra little bit for a "privacy suite"... It comes with a private jacuzzi. Loved this hotel!

This was the most terrible hotel that I have stayed at in my entire life. The room was absolutely disgusting, the drain in the shower would not work, the toilet was dirty with stains all over, it is old, outdated, and needs major renovations. The breakfast in the morning is covered with ants and cockroaches, the food looks like it was recycled from last nights dinner. We stayed here for 2 nights and after seeing the room conditions we asked the staff up front if we could get our money back so we can go somewhere else, or even get our room upgraded. We were told that there was nothing that they could do for us. We asked for fresh towels and they asked us why? Our room was "cleaned" in the morning and they didn't even replace our towels. The swimming pool is gross and doesnt look like they clean it at all. Oh and the best part is the safe!! What a joke, it had a hole in the back, was completely detachable and we could walk right out of the hotel with it. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

It isn't as good as expected, really not worth for the high price, n I think it really need good maintenance.maybe because the lighting isn't good, especially I expect a good spa or bathtub for me to have my bubble bath, but things turn out bad. just wouldn't recommend to stay or pay for the price!

Railay beach is magnificent! The views here surpass minor flaws! This hotel showed some age (ants were everywhere and the bed was old and hard). but it was one of the nice grand resorts on the beach. The food was great at the restaurant. I would stay here again! Maybe in a private bungalow with its own pool. Railay west was very quiet at night but it's a short walk to Railay east where things are noisier and open late. The staff were very knowledgable and helpful with transfers and boat rides to Krabi. Hotel is only accessible by small boat from Krabi.

There are 2 nice swimming pools. Walking street is nearby. Would recommend to go Railey Family for local thai food. Price is reasonable. The hotel doesnt allow late check out.

Wonderful area, yet hotel a bit down at the edges. Couldn't get a good night's sleep due to rock-hard bed/pillow and light streaming in from the windows. Breakfast was marginal at best. That said, it's a fine option for the area.

Lovely hotel with great rooms, amazing beach front pool and really good food. Make sure you get a room at the western end if beach and pool lazing is your thing. East beach is smelly and not so nice. All in all very pleasant.

We stayed at Railay Bay Resort and Spa for 3 nights and had a great time. Great Location on Railay and easily accessible via long tail boat from krabi. We had a villa on the east side and it was beautiful and quiet away from the busy west side. Amazing sunrises and we loved getting up early to watch the sunrise and long tail boats coming and going. There is a large variety at breakfast and quite tasty. Fantastic views of railay west side at breakfast which is stunning especially before the tour boats and day trippers arrive on railay. There is a pool in the middle of the resort and another on the west side close to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again.
