Standard Room has no desk and toothbrush
This hotel is easy to miss if you are looking for it because there's no bright sign at night and they turn all the lights off. It's located next to the Ibiza Lounge. The Standard room looked nice, but there's no desk to work from, so you either have to work from your bed, or put your laptop on the Sofa and sit on the floor. I was surprised to discover they did not include toothbrushes in the room, I had brought my own, so it wasn't a big issue for me, but most 4 Star hotels include toothbrushes. The room has two bathrobes, which is a nice touch. There were two little windowed slits on the walls that served as outdoor light, but I would not consider them real windows with a view. Next door, there's a 24 hour Belgian restaurant that serves great food. Exit the hotel, turn left and you'll be in the red light district in two or three blocks. You do get a free welcome drink, I chose wine the next morning.

Boutique pearl on waterfront
Great design oriented hotel, right in the middle of riverfront, with easy access to restaurant, bars, royal palaces etc. Roof top bar was closed, would have nice view. Great interiors. Comfortable rooms.

Mouse in bed under the covers - AVOID!
I stayed in this hotel many times before and would have given it at least 3-4 stars normally. But on august 29, i checked in with jet lag, fell asleep for 3 hours, and woke up with a MOUSE IN MY BED UNDER THE COVERS with me which indicated that it was there the whole time! I panicked and scrambled out, mouse ran around and stayed in the bedding. Called the manager who sent a staff who trapped the mouse on the bed under the covers with a broom and swept it into the bucket. No one apologized. I asked to check out immediately and there was a fuss about refunding me, the Manager offered me another room "with no mouse". Luckily, customer agent, nice guy, helped me get my refund and rebooked me into another hotel. Cleanliness and pest control a problem (during the last stay a little black lizard ran across the floor in the bathroom) - stay at your own risk. I was a repeat customer many times, yes the room smelt a but musky sometimes, they do not keep the air conditioning on before the guest arrives, but i could have dealt with those issues, given the good location and reasonable price... BUT A MOUSE IN THE BED??? No way. Never going back, am traumatized! The staff do not seem to get it that this is not acceptable. Seems like the hotel has become badly runned.
