Overall stay was good but having to wait 30minutes after the guaranteed check in time (3pm) in the lobby for the room to be ready was not acceptable. We were meeting friends at Abe&Ls across the street a 3:30pm and ended up keeping them waiting until 4pm b/c of this delay

The service at the mandarin is unlike any other hotel. The location is great and walkable to the Boston common, newbury street or the prudential center. I went to the spa and it was smaller but still very lovely.

Amazing experience and perfect location! The room was incredible. We did have a hiccup the first day when a few strange items disappeared from our mini bar and we found an old room key on top of the bar. None of our items were missing and they were not in a safe. The manager took this very seriously and reviewed camera footage. He sent a very nice bottle of champagne to our room for the inconvenience. Besides the first encounter, every single detail was incredible and would highly recommend!

Our arrival was disappointing. The room we had confirmation of was not available and the staff on duty did little to address the issue. However the next day the manager went above and beyond to resolve the issue. This is a beautiful well managed property. We go to Boston once a month and this will now be our go to hotel when we are there.
