a gem that's lost it's shine...
The Chase unfortunately has gone down hill the past 10 years. It breaks my heart. I got married here so it's extra special for me. The pool area was closed and had been for quite some time - no one mentioned that before my arrival. The faucet and shower both leaked - alot. the furniture was ratty and the wallaper is peeling. It's such a great location, but it's getting harder to pay the extra resort fees for a run down hotel that clearly has lost all respect for itself. I just really wish management would do their part and maintain this property back to it's original shine.

Pet friendly and inviting atmosphere - but please update the beds. Check-in was a breeze even though the hotel was pretty full. We were there for a funeral but it was also apparently a hockey weekend. We were grateful that even though there were many families with kids of younger ages that the hotel was quiet after 9:00. We enjoyed our stay. Staff were warm and welcoming as was the ambiance of the entire hotel including the room. The only downside to this hotel was the beds. They are very stiff and I woke up several times with pain in my hips because of it. Breakfast was not free but was absolutely worth the price. Overall, the next time we’re in Walker, hopefully on a happier note, we would probably stay here again.

Well worth the trip! What a Gem!
Very nice! Staff attentive and friendly. Pool area offered two hot tub/ sauna options plus pool. In house Bar and Restaurant available. Prime Rib was excellent. Weekend Breakfast Buffet nice variety and served hot! A welcome surprise. Conference and Meeting rooms available with professional Staff to make the stay well worth the time and investment. Local walking distance community offerings make evening relaxing and entertaining an ease. Definitely returning! What a Gem!
