Hotel Park Villa, Mexico City
The hotel is very cute on the outside, with 24 hour service including room service. But everything good is only superficial. The shower leaked horribly and the carpet next to it was soaked our entire stay, including before our first shower, from the previous guests. There were hundreds of ants in the drain. The bathroom was an upright coffin. The room is already very dark, but one of the lightbulbs was missing and never replaced. The wifi was spotty and hardly useable. The gate to the hotel closes at sunset and you have to knock, hoping someone hears you, to get in. One night I tried the room service, and ordered a sandwich that had no price listed, the others were $12usd or less. I ended up paying about $20 for a sandwich! In Mexico. The hotel desperately needs to be refurbished, and a few details really thought out. Housekeeping was great, and a few of the service guys, excellent. But we wouldn't go back or recommend for more than a night or two.

The hotel is in a great location of Mexico City, with my only complaint being the closure of the facility at 2200. Coming from America, this is not a common thing.

Nice place.
Overall very good. My wife thought the bed was too hard. No coffee in the room but that's typical in Mexico. Great location for exploring the park. About 2 1/2 blocks to the metro. Good parking in the courtyard if you need it.

Charming, quaint luxurious hotel
Very beautiful hotel right across from the chapultapec park. Its an old building with a lot of architectural charm. The service was friendly and efficient. The room was very big decorated in spanish style with ceiling beams etc. Classy, understated luxury.

Older property, although well kept. For the price, very good. Half the price, all the service.
