2/10 Poor

Don't do it, fam.
Just terrible. The room was like a prison cell, the floors hadnet been cleaned, and the bathroom was hard to navigate due to the size. If you felt claustrophobic and attempted to open the curtains, you'd find that half the window is blocked out so you can't even see outside. The room doors are inches from the next room, tucked away in a tiny hallways off the main hallway. There was a woman at the front desk when we checked in that was the only good thing about the place. Her talents and personality is wasted in this hotel. Upon check out, i realized she was the only kind person there apparently.

6/10 Good

Interesting experience
Deposit was $100 dollars not 40 like stated on the website and Hotels.com. We were two students traveling with little money so i'm glad we had that extra money so we weren't stranded in Chicago in the middle of December. We had barely any leftover for food and transit. You might think or say this is more of a personal issue but indeed alot of people are in the same situation with not too many extra funds for unexpected things like this, especially being in a large city alone like Chicago. There were others who seemed taken aback by this larger than expected deposit as they were also trying to scrounge for the funds. We also ordered doordash and accidently fell asleep before it arrived, the hotel staff instead of calling up to our room which was the same name on the doordash as our room/stay, they threw it away. Shower smelled like chlorine and the vent above shed dust onto both of us. 4/10 Just OK. Hotel staff was nice though....
