The only issue I had was they do not offer a parking garage and force you to pay for valet or park on the street. The fees do not show on the 1st page it is hidden in the fine print while all other hotel reservations that offer valet have it at least on the 1st page
Very good experience. One of the best.
So comfortable and quiet.
The valet people were so nice and started our trip off right but the lady at the front desk not so much. She wasn’t rude but she wasn’t nice either just seemed kind of blah. Our room was supposed to have river views there was a tiny bit of water around the corner but mostly the highway and an air conditioner. A heads up would have been nice since we paid additional money for the view. Hotel kind of dated but clean and comfortable. TV didn’t work but maintenance guy helped us out right away and fixed it. Beds were comfortable but outside was a little noisy from the highway.
I was looking forward to getting away, however, it was a disappointment. Because of covid, I personally wiped down the counters with disinfecting wipes. As I did this, I felt dried, caked-on material on several of the counters in the bathroom, desk, and kitchenette area. The TV and electric alarm clock did not work. Then, the next morning, I discovered the hair dryer was broken, as well. It was a disappointing experience.
Loved it! When I go back to the are, this is where I’ll go.
Easy check-in,clean room, staff were kind and helpful.
Very clean and beautiful. Staff was great and loved how it was downtown where everything was.
Check in process was good- quick anf friendly staff. Booked a room with "shower only", but got a tub (not great for medical needs). No answer when calling front desk or room service for towels. Paid extra for a riverfront room, but there was barely a view of the river because they put us in a recessed corner. Pool, roof lounge, restaurants not open, but nothing is posted ro inform you PRIOR to booking. Convenient location to old town, but heavy homeless population right outside the hotel.
We drove up from Manteca for an overnight getaway. The location of the Embassy Suites is perfect for walking to many of the local activities & attractions. The property and room are so clean we had no qualms about traveling during CoVid.
