Landlord lives on side a SN only wants the money
Landlord lives aside and after age find out we had another two guests stayed with us , she instead charge us $300/night, total $600 extra. We had 4 children and 4 adults stays in a suite and on the website it shows we can only stay for 4 people. The lady was very rude and she only wants the money. After we paid extra $600 at our first night, she was happy for the rest time. So we paid total $1400 for two night.

We had a great time and loved the lodge. Breakfast was delicious and they were very helpful in making recommendations for touring the park.

A Good Place to Stay
Mauriene and Tim were wonderful hosts and made us feel welcome. We had a pleasant surprise waiting for us in our room--a bottle of wine. Mauriene prepared a delicious breakfast both days of our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a small refrigerator in the room which was very handy. Toula, the dog, was cute and very friendly. The location of the lodge was conveniently close to the entrance of Sequoia.

Beautiful B&B with mountain views
Overall, we were very pleased with this beautiful home to stay in for a nice, relaxing night. It was pricey, but very nice, excellent breakfast, wonderful hosts, great guests to get to know at morning breakfast....beautiful area. We didn't realize that the giant Sequoia trees were much farther north in the park so it caught us a bit by surprise but our hosts let us know that once you enter the park (from the south entrance near this B&B, it's about a 45 minute drive until you begin to see the big trees, and then it was about another hour or so to exit the park on the north end.) One minor thing that is good to know ahead of time...driveway is steep...slow and steady and you'll be fine :)...Oh...and the hummingbirds...WOW...amazing to watch in the morning from the deck.
