Hampton Inn & Suites Mexico City - Centro Historico, Mexico City
Exceptional10.0
Beautiful hotel in a great location
This was a great hotel, right in the Historic Center of Mexico City. The room was spotless, and had by far the most comfortable bed out of the 6 places we stayed on our trip. The only negative I can possibly think of about the room itself was that the window was covered, so we had no outside view/natural light. (Many rooms do, ours did not) That was very minor. Every staff person we encountered was friendly and helpful. The building itself is an older, historic building, but the inside was very fresh and modern. While there are some rough areas in Mexico City, this was not one of them. The Zocalo is just a few blocks away, and there are many upscale shops and restaurants in the area. (Some more casual/fast food as well) I felt safe and comfortable walking around, even late into the evening.
