Needs to be cleaned!
Hotel could uses a good cleaning. When I arrived there were painting tarps everywhere and I had to walk over then to get to my room. The place smelled old. The chair they provided in my room also has some disgusting stains on it. They also refused to turn up the heat, so my room was very cold. Instead they brought me a blanket.

Not 4 star hotel -Good location, smelly/decadent
The location of this hotel is great. Between two metro stations and a walking distance from Wangfujing Street, Forbidden City and Tian’an Square. However, the room was smelly and in bad shape. Door doesn’t lock easily and the window was a pain to close. The hall has a disgusting cigarette stink. The carpet looks so dirty that I think nobody ever washed it. The breakfast was expensive compared to others hotels we stay so we didn’t have it. It wouldn’t stay there again.

Nice hotel, problems with service
The hotel itself was fine, clean, and in a convenient area. However, there were problems with service. First, the maid; we were in the room when she came, so we asked her to come back later or just not service the room. She insisted on continuing and cleaning while we were there. She blocked the door with her cart so we couldn't get out, too! It was awkward, and inconvenient. The much bigger problem was with desk staff. We asked them to call a cab to take us to the train station. They said there were no cabs available - at 2:30 on a weekday! - because of 1 block of traffic a few blocks away. They didn't seem to want to call anyone except their buddy to drive us. They called a Didi (Chinese Uber), who flaked, then another. They just kept saying "no, take the subway!" and rolled their eyes when we pointed out that, with our big bags and the lack of any escalators/elevators, we couldn't take the subway. The kicker? If we'd just gone outside to get the cabs ourselves, there were at least 6 who offered to take us, but by then they'd made us pay for the MIA Didi driver instead. The whole thing was really unnecessary and unprofessional.

Bad!!
We got a room that was very hot over 29 celcius / 84 fahrenheit. It was an interior room with a very small window that was useless cause you have a wall 3 feet away from you. They didn't have A/C, so it was impossible to stay at the room and very difficult to sleep. They didn't change our room cause we paid for "interior room", so they didn't care about the problem. Awful! The price was cheap, and of course I wasnt expecting any luxurious hotel, but if you now that you have a problem with the temperature pay for some A/C!!!!
