A week in Tepic!
This probably was a high end hotel at some point. But the Master suite w two bedroom really needed an cleaning. Microwave was dirty, lamp shades looked like they hadn’t been dusted in a while. The overall appearance is nice. The beds were comfortable and clean and I felt safe in the hotel BUT AT NIGHT I definitely wouldn’t walk anywhere. Sirens, shootings, and bar w loud music in the weekends. Church bells from Cathedral wake yiu up at 6am and yiu hear it loudly and continuously every 15 min... so ur seems. Won’t be able to sleep in. The breakfast is great Mexican and omelette station. Good workout room and nice reasonably price restaurant down stairs. Lots of near by shops and restaurants, nothing fancy. I do HIGHLY RECOMMEND Nayarit Adventurous tours!(kiosk right outside hotel) Did 3 tours and were each excellent. Ask for Lorena! My iWatch charger did disappear and I told front desk. Overall, a good 3.5 star ratings in US standards.

Great hotel great value
Excellent hotel and staff starting with underground free parking and accommodation with early check in. Hotel is spotless everywhere and room and bathroom was commodious. The view over the plaza was very enjoyable (public activity such as dances in the plaza can be a little noisy but are also free entertainment!). Everything about the hotel and the surrounding neighborhood with several museums was excellent. Many restaurants seem to close early but Emiliano’s, four blocks away, was open, world class and reasonable.
