Iberostar Lanzarote Park, Yaiza
Wonderful hotel with tip-top management and staff.
Couldn't fault it. Great management and staff. Superb service. Excelent food. Good facilities and entertainment. Beautiful hotel in a great location with wonderful outlook. Clean and well tended. Had planned to move on to another hotel, but have just rebooked here for our final week and will certainly return. Big thanks to the manager and all the staff for making it a '5 star' stay.

Otherwise excellant
Good hotel in excellent location. Rooms are modern, a bed topper would add to comfort because bed was rather firm. Balcony chairs very narrow and no case stand in room, Otherwise excellent.

More 4 star than5
We stayed for a week at this resort late May. The resort is medium size and clean. Rooms are medium size as well. We are family with a 3 year old. The sofa bed for child in our room was very creaky n not so comfortable. After 3 times reminding the reception finally changed with another one which was still slightly creaky but we didnt bother to complain again. Hotel has got several small pools. 1-2 for kids with some slides. There is a playground with sand play area. Our son loved it. Dont need to bring beach toys as there are more than enough available in playground. Beach is very close 4 mins walk. Also same as shops and pharmacy. Food: breakfast has got many choices what ever u think of, plus many different kind fresh squeezed fruit and vegetable juice. Lunch and dinner was ok but not awesome. Every time 1-2 meals new but mostly repeated. There are lots of sea food options. Steak n fish cooked right on your order. The general quality of cooking some nights was not consistent. One night a bit salty another night a bit bland n not enough salt. The room service / pool & restaurant staff / mini disco were awesome, very polite n nice. Always in every way very helpful and accommodating. It is very family kind of atmosphere and peaceful which we liked. There is mini disco, my son liked it. But could be way better in terms of group activities and entertainment for adults.

2nd Time and We’ll Be Back
Can’t fault anything. We were half board star prestige which is basically all inclusive (you only have to pay for drinks with your evening meal, and there is always an aperitif). All drinks around the pool are included until 18:00. After that you can get drinks for free from the SP lounge. These are premium brand, cocktails, smoothes etc, and there are also snacks such as sandwiches, salads and cakes. The hotel is perfectly located for a flat level walk either to Papagayo in one direction and the light house in the other. You can also walk up and around the small volcano behind the hotel in about an hour. The rooms are modern with tv connections for all your devices, we were able to stream Netflix from our iPad with our own HDMI adapter. You can also easily Bluetooth pair your phone with the speakers in the bedroom and bathroom. Unfortunately for us English speakers, there are no uk channels worth watching on the tv. The Gym is small, but very well equipped. For cardio it has a Concept 2 rower, 2 running machines, 3 spin bikes and a cross trainer. For resistance it has dumbbells up to 22kg, barbell up to 120kg, 3 benches, 2 cable machines, a chest press machine and a leg extension machine. We also tried some of the classes and activities which were included. The spin class in the pool is fun and the yoga on the beach is a great way to start the day. All the staff were helpful, friendly and attentive. If you are adults only, the Star Prestige is worth the extra.

Overall a great experience
Overall was great. On arrival, we were met by Steffi - she is fantastic, friendly and welcoming - what you look for when visiting a new place. I booked a family room, for extra space. We were allocated room 1102 - the balcony is huge and view is amazing! The room itself is not very spacious, but nice. If you book a family room, check for this particular room (1102) at reception! A niggle or two; we booked B&B but ate at the hotel one night. I asked on 2 separate occasions If I need to sign something before I sit down for meals to be added to our room. Twice I was told no, but then when sitting down to enjoy my meal, I had a waiter approach and practically demand I stop eating and sign for the meal cost to be put to the room. I asked if he could now wait until after my meal.. he just looked at me and tapped the receipt - this interaction spoiled the meal, and felt we were being dealt with as if we were going to run off without paying! At times when on holiday, you get noisy neighbours. The first few nights we put up with noise of the guests on top of us, but the last night we wanted to sleep well but past 11pm the people above us were still creating unreasonable noise. I called reception, only to be met with a man whose response for help was 'what do you want?'. I then spoke with a lady who was great and willing to help. Ii could be a language barrier with the man, but if it is, he should not answer calls! Recommend Iberostar overall, only couple of staff let it down.
