DISGUSTING!!!!! When I checked in they had me look at the room. It looked ok. I had an allergy attack that day and could not smell but at 3 am I realized my room smelled like an ashtray. I had ordered a handicapped room/non smoking. I went to the desk to complain and they said there are no other rooms available. They put my room NEXT DOOR to a smoking room. My clothes were ruined, I had to keep a towel under my door as the bathroom vent was blowing cigarette smoke right into my room. The hallway was full of cigarette smoke all 3 days and on the second day they rented the room not only to a smoker with a booming voice but a screaming child AND a barking dog. My room was not cleaned, bed not made, no towels except what was there when I arrived. This was a business trip and this place is an embarrassment to the national touring band that I brought there. The breakfast was a joke, coffee was brown water and next time I come to town I will rent a tent before I stay at this place. The worst part is, these people didn't even care as long as they got your money. I rented a total of 2 rooms for 3 nights and 6 rooms for 2 nights. That is 18 rentals and to be treated like that is ridiculous. Quality Inn should pull their franchise license.

Would recommend for inexpensive stay.
Stayed two nights there sightseeing in Fort Payne, Scottsboro, Mentone and surrounding areas. Room was clean, breakfast was fine and staff was very helpful.

Horrible!!
It was awful!! Bed was extremely hard! Room was dirty!! Room was cleaned one day by the maintenance man!! He told us so! Bed was never made in 4 nights we stayed. We did get clean towels though. Since it was the cheapest hotel in Fort Payne, we got to stay with a group of the rudest and most inconsiderate people I have ever stayed by. In the hallway talking loud and banging doors until 2-3 am. I would have changed hotels if I hadn't already paid for it!

Stay away
I paid for a room with a king bed which was what I wanted. They put me in a room with king bed however there was blood all over the bathroom floor and toilet. Took them a little while to make it right. Put me in another room that had two queen beds. Very unsatisfied

Nice!
My stay was pretty good overall. I stayed for three days/four nights for a buisness trip. The hotel was reasonably priced for the quality. The coffee maker in my room didn't work, and the closet door was off the hinges and up against the wall for some reason. Room was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was great and there were many restaurants close by. There was no gym/fitness center in the hotel but there was one very close by that had 24 hour access and the manager was nice enough to allow me to workout there each morning. I will stay here again if I ever return to the area!
