The Worst Hotel Experience in 50 Years!
Rude wait staff, did not clean and restock our rooms during one night, even after my husband and our friends went to the front desk at 7:00 pm to ask for service. They promised service that did not come. Upon check in, we were asked if we were Hilton Honors members, which we are (I even offered our HH Number). We were not told of the Honors members club room with free breakfast and appetizers until the last night of our stay, when, for the second time, we had to go to the front desk because our room card no longer worked. This cost us about $200 for four people to stand in line every morning to buy packaged breakfast at the coffee kiosk. For the last two days of our 3 day meeting, a coffee and food stand was set up for quicker lunch service. However, it was taken away shortly after 800 people were let out of the meeting for lunch. The bar was understaffed and visibly frustrated, offering rude service (except for one exceptional lady). They were too busy to serve us food on Friday night and sent us to the restaurant. The waiter there told us he had no time to wait on us because he got a big group at another table. He came back after he said the manager was helping him. A person in our party asked for a drink with an olive and was told there are no olives because the supply room door was locked. Our friend's earrings were stolen off her dresser. This was the worst hotel experience I've had and I've traveled extensively for over 50 years.
