Shady service and smelly hotel. Beware!
Upon checking in, 1 hour early, the front desk said she would have to charge us $25! I told her I had spoken to guest service line and I was told as long as I am not checking in during morning hours, before rooms are turned over, it would not be an issue. I confirmed this before arranging my travels and transport from the airport etc. She said it was a "brand new" policy. I asked for a manager on duty, and she said there was none available on site. I asked for the corporate # again. 5 min into my phone call, she told my companion that she can check me in now. I told corporate was she had just said, and they called to speak to her to allow us to check without the $25 fee. I didn't appreciate her attitude. Pretty sure nobody will take our guaranteed room away from us for an hour! Ridiculous! As people checked in after us, she kept having to explain all of these new policies that involved fees to guests. Very shady place. The hotel reeked of odors indescribable. The only pros to this visit was quality of sheets, and towels. Don't bother with this hotel. Beware!

In America men and women are equal....
Terrible terrible terrible I had to stay 3 days because it was already booked and paid for by the time I checked in had it been any other circumstance I definitely would have hightailed it out of there faster than you could say bye. Truth be told I don't even know where to start with the complaints I guess a good place would be the customer service at the front desk was appalling they charge me a deposit that was astronomical and on par with what a 4-star hotel will charge someone paying for the room with cash beyond that the front desk attendees the gentleman at least we're very condescending to me my husband said that they were fine when he was talking to them so I assume that it is just a nationality barrier the girls in the front desk were awesome Megan who rotates day and night shift absolutely incredible the gentleman that works in the daytime almost everyday hold it over my head that he would just ask me to leave and not allow me to continue my stay if I continue asking questions about the way that my rate was changing daily and if I thought they were charging me $35 a day in taxes. I'm just saying what your receipt and bring your own food because their store is very thin stocked.

Total Joke!
I was happy when we first arrived. Check in was quick but the experience dramatically dropped to the negative when we arrived to our room. There was spots on the carpet, nasty stains on the drapes next to the bed, furniture looked like it came from Goodwill, the tv didnt work, the floor around the toilet was dirty and the tv remote was held together with duct tape! The following night after check in around 1:55am someone was knocking on our door (woke my wife up) and it was the lady from the front desk asking if we were in the right room! Then 5 minutes later the phone rang and it was the same girl asking the same questions! I asked for the manager to address this but it never happened. Overall it was a very disappointing experience and for what we paid we expected more.

Exceptional 10.0
Very close to Houston Hobby Airport
I ended up missing my connecting flight due to my first flight getting delayed so I found this hotel to stay at for the night. When I landed at 11pm I called the front desk agent and she was so helpful in getting me over to the hotel. She insisted that the hotel could cover my taxi cab fee over to the hotel since their shuttle had already stopped running for the day. She was so welcoming upon my arrival and made sure I had everything that I needed for my stay. I wish I remembered her name but I sadly don't. She deserves a recognition for her acts of going above and beyond. I thank her for making my night a little less of a hassle! Customer Service is number one in my opinion and I give them a 10 out of 5 on that. The room was clean and very spacious as well! I would highly recommend staying with this hotel and if I find myself in the area again I know I'll be sure to stay here!

Did not like when check in was told lock up vehicle and do not leave valuable in car. The pool that we booked this hotel for, was shut down the entire time. And when asked if it would be up and running, i was literally laughed at. The breakfast was horrible. The cleaning staff was rude. I left this hotel as soon as i found another avaliable hotel, and then my debit card was charged an extra 102 dollars. When i called to ask them why, they said it was an error and our money would be refunded within 3-5 buisness day. This comfort suites i will NEVER stay at again, and it makes me iffy on all the other comfort suites. I feared to leace my car outside, was over charged, had to go out to eat for breakfast. This was our spring break, our first family vacation, and this hotel made it miserable.

Don’t waste your time or money
Check in was smooth and easy. When I checked into my 1st room. There was a musty/moldy smell. I ended up asking for another room since my allergies flared up REALLY bad. But the lady at the front desk was very understanding and switched my room with no issues. The second room smelled a lot better. Something that I noticed in the first and second room was that the smoke detectors or whatever it was on the ceiling had some type of mold around them. There was a lot of cracks and mold around the borders all throughout the hotel. The pool wasn’t clean either on top of 2 frogs being stuck in it. None of the outside doors worked, so we could only come in through the front. Also my mother stayed here as well and had to get her room switched as there was a huge cockroach in the first and then ants were coming out of the cracks on the ceiling where the smoke detector was. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again on my next trip to Houston.

The phone system was down (which the front desk worker said happens often) so we waited at the airport for a shuttle for 30 minutes. Eventually we got a cab. The hotel reimbursed the taxi fare which was nice. The room’s sofa coach was dirty, mattress was stained the bag of linens for the sofa bed were missing pillow coverings, etc. the water in the bathroom was brown when it came out of the faucet and there was a bug in the tub. Cracked bathroom floors with mold and a toilet that did not flush. I have paid much less for a hotel ($104.00 is what this one cost) and experienced better. I was disappointed with the Expedia reviews and will ever stay here again.

Very Good 8.0
The room was nice and there was a wall thermostat which worked extremely well for Houston heat. The elevator was a little scary and outdated with peeling floor boards and a dropping sound before the doors even closed to take you to the second floor. Made you feel as though the elevator was going to drop. There was a little "store" area but you had to go to the front desk in order for someone to acknowledge you so you can for goods. Breakfast left much to be desired but the room was clean and comfortable. The surrounding area looks a little shady with a topless bar across the street but it is convenient to plenty of gas stations and stores within a 10-15 min drive. Airport less than 2 miles away. Great water pressure and floor mats for shower was made available.

I had booked three rooms in this hotel, two of the t three rooms had brown and yellow stains on the mattresses as you can see, rooms 223 and 228, They tried to tell me they had a clean room with clean mattresses!!!! Come on!!! They claimed that this happened because FEMA had put people in the hotel who were not were sanitary!!! Expedia tried to work with them but to no avail, I personally called the manager and told him as a courtesy call to fix the problem otherwise I will be posting the pictures on the internet. All he kept saying is "you don't threaten me" Well I guess I'm posting the pictures.

First room TV didn’t work, phone didn’t work AND toilet didn’t work. All within the first 5 min of dragging all our luggage inside the room. Then we had to move to another room (and move all that luggage again) and in that room the a/c want working!! No energy left to move again. Had early flight to catch the next morning. THEN the shuttle scheduled to take us to the airport showed up and it was a CAR! We (with our luggage) would not fit so the CAR had to make 2 trips back and forth to get us there. Truly unbelievable.
