Exceptional 10.0
I wish we had 25 hours (only had 14)
Totally cool, funky place with great attention to details in decor, in room, hallways and community areas. Neighborhood a bit sketchy first two blocks out but after that great access to river and downtown attractions.

Very nice stop over
We only stayed overnight and wish we had more time to explore this hotel. Very unique and the staff was very helpful. Location is close to the train station and convenient for walking to shopping areas. Caution about the alleys surrounding the area best to use the main sidewalks.

Exceptional 10.0
Eclectic, super comfortable, great staff and local
Super nice staff in this modern, eclectic venue with extra comfortable beds, quiet rooms, fun atmosphere in common areas that feels part Google campus in lobby and part biergarten or pub in cafeteria with open patio. Walking distance to main train station.

October Trip
The hotel was good! There are many reviews about it being close to the red light district - but it's not bad at all, and the area is avoidable if you feel its needed. Room was huge by European standards. However, I did book a room with a queen bed, and we had two twin beds (with separate blankets) pushed together to create a "queen" bed which was a bit disappointing. Overall though, would recommend the hotel.

Close to the train station, funky, and clean!
First, let me say I like this hotel. It has the most creative & intentionally funky decor of any hotel I've ever seen. I'd best describe it as like a very, very, very high-end college dormitory, with bikes chained up on each floor's landing and murals of Bob Marley and exotic travels on the hallway walls. The hotel lobby caught me off guard because it was, let's just say, off-beat(???). But it was actually fine for its purposes, and the guestroom was brand brand new, which is always nice. I appreciate that there were USB outlets available on both sides of the bed and at the room's desk. The shower and sink are located completely separate from the toilet, which gives me the creeps when I think about the toilet room door handle, but maybe that will be ok with most people. The generous sink & overhead-shower room, separated from the bedroom by a curtain, is nicely appointed but it is a bit dark and I could not find an outlet to plug in the really, really nice blow dryer supplied, so I had to stretch the cord from the bedside outlet as a last resort. Don't get me wrong—I like the hotel. No doubt some people will love it. It is new and clean and very near the main train station, and all that matters a lot. It's just not a place I'd send my more traditional friends and family members. For young people, it's probably perfect! I give a big hats off to the creative minds behind this facility. It is utterly original and made for a hotel stay I will not soon forget.
