A hotel very much in "progress?"
Perhaps this hotel was in better condition before the construction work on the street and in some of the hotel began, but currently the construction renders the place almost uninhabitable!

We arrived before checking time and they let us store our bags...thank gosh! The hotel is close to the city center where it is a lively crowd of good food, shopping and drinks...all walkable from the hotel. The room was clean, quiet and cute. The restaurant down stairs was incredible! We didn’t know it would be that good...and the service was super great. The coffee shop down the street even recommend the hotel restaurant to go enjoy dinner. People who aren’t staying at the hotel come to eat. My husband said it was one of the top three burgers he has ever eaten and my veggie stew and rice was just up my ally. If we return to Frankfurt we will be staying here again. We loved it!!

Great place to stay
This is a great and quirky place. On top of the great service, they give you things to borrow while you are there ( I used the messenger bag so I wouldn't have to take a backpack to the conference, but they will even lend you a car). Only downside is that it is close to red light district, so walking home at night was an adventure. They are also going through some renovations, but there was no noise as a distraction.

Cool spot to explore Frankfurt from
Friendly front desk staff, offered an early checkout but it might get noisy, I ended up waiting until the appointed check in for a higher, inside room. The room is quirky in a good way, and while I think it’s a little funny to see Americanisms adopter in-ironically (but also sort of ironically?) I did chuckle a few times with some of the tinier instances. The soap, shampoo and lotion smelled amazing. The towels were a little threadbare. But that’s really nothing. The room was great. Interestingly enough the hallways, on a motion detector, are dark when you open your door and that can be disconcerting at first. The area. I work in downtown LA next to skid row, so I’m okay. But I could see how some might feel discomforted. Overall, it’s just a few blocks and you could skirt it with ease if desired. (Pun on desires here, because red light district.). But something to keep in mind. Eat a pastrami at Marie Eisens! You’ll be fine.
