The Woolpack Inn, Chichester
Highly Recommended
It was quite excellent, far better than the previous Inn that you recommended. The room was faultless with easy parking. A pleasant garden area was good in which to have meals. My stay included a good breakfast. The pub has a frequent bus service outside the door into the centre of Chichester. Country lanes provide good places to explore down to the sea..

Very Good8.0
cycling tour
Stay was as expected. We were a group on a cycling tour and the Woolpack was able to offer twin rooms. Highlights were room availability, showers, service and friendliness of staff, reasonable breakfast and bar billiards in the evening. Areas for improvement were quality and comfort of beds.

Overnight nr Chichester.
Chosen for location and price as much as anything being just off the Chichester by-pass and less than half the price of the local Premier Inn. Local gastro pub with accommodation built round the back. Service was fine, staff were pleasant but very basic rooms. Biggest complaint is they are very cheaply built with very thin walls and thus you can hear every word of conversation from neighbouring rooms as though they are sat at the end of your bed.

good breakfast
Room was nothing special, just a couple of beds (lumpy and springy), but breakfast was great! Local produce for full English and staff were welcoming.
