Parnon Hotel April 2015
Just north of Omonoia Metro Station. Despite other reviews describing loiterers, this area is safe. In fact, I manage to unknowingly drop a package of cheap souveniers and a 'street person' came up to me to return it. There are 'friendly' street walkers downstairs working but they are from another hotel on the other side of the block. Since the locale is near the Omonoia station, there are a lot of good 'hole in the wall' eateries. In my opinion, it is much quieter than the Monastriaki area, which has bars open in the very late hours in the night. Would definitely stay here again.
