When we arrived, the front desk staff was not as welcoming as I would have hoped. I was having issues locating my ID in my purse (driving in from California with my 4 kids close to midnight, of course my ID would have slipped into the bottom of my purse). When asked if I could have my husband check in for us, they did not allow it. They advised that we call hotels.com to add him to the reservation and then have them notify the reservations of the change so they could proceed with our check in. Anyway, you could imagine the hassle. They were not as accommodating or helpful, they made me feel like we were burdening them. After check in and arriving in our room, the room was spacious and clean. The view from the room was beautiful. However, there was a whistling noise that we heard all night. I’m not sure if it was because our room was close to the elevators or the heavy winds that made its way into the vents but it was pretty loud. We tried to grab a quick bite to eat for breakfast, we walked over to the Palms casino to their food court and the service at the Mc Donald’s was terrible. It took them 45 minutes just to complete our order. Anyway, overall the room and view were great, I just hope in the future their service matched their accommodations.

Bad
Stay was horrible! When checking in the line was ridiculous and they announced to everyone that someone called off. That's kind of stuff happens. But as soon as we go into our room when I took a shower and it flooded the bathroom all the way to the main door. It took over an hour for them to fix and clean. We just got in from new and were exhausted so we went to the restaurant for dinner (not that we wanted to) next morning the shower flooded again. We were told a manager was going to call us and nothing. I called 3 days later and the manager was going to call back and nothing. I understand things happen but when customers get this kind of service and follow up..... we will definitely not be staying there again!

Enjoyed Stay, needed some minor fixes
I really, really enjoyed my stay at Palms/Palms Place. This was my second “Staycation. As a local, The Palms/Place has given me the getaway feel that I needed. If I was to look at ANY negatives, it would have been the dust in my room, and the broken shower faucet. I was forced to take a bath each night, that I ALSO slipped in. You guys should definitely add some form of grip or ensure there isn’t soap on the bottom. I’ve bruised my thigh hitting against the marbel tub. Other than that, I enjoyed myself, and will be back.
