100 eur were stolen from my room!!
I was at the hotel for 2 nights at the end of my 2 weeks in Europe engagement trip with my fiancee. Everything was fine when on the second day I found that part of my money (100 euro) had been taken from my room. I am very sure of it that is why I asked the receptionist to help me find out what happened. As I had thought, after talking to the cleaning staff, he said they did not have a clue of what could have happened and they would suggest it was my fault (money displaced, my fiancee took it, an excuse to leave the hotel sooner,...). I tried to speak with the manager but was not given the opportunity. They told me to call the police but as it would be my word against theirs and had no insurance to cover this event so I decided not to and to leave the hotel inmediately (loosing one of my 3 paid nights). I thought the management would compensate me somehow but I only got apologies after sending them the description of what happened. It has been a horrible experience. We felt unprotected and lost all our trust in the hotel. The person that took the money was clever enough to take only part of it leaving the rest and thinking perhaps we would not be sure of the amount we had left at the hotel. Unfortunately for the robber we were sure. I do not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. If they do, keep the valuable things in a safe place.

little bang for the buck
OK, London is expensive, I get that. Still, For $175 a night, you'd expect a bit more comfort. The bathroom was max 24 sqft small, there was no water pressure and it was impossible to properly shower. Very convenient location, but that's about it.

Tired and in need of updating
Hotel was very tired and needed a good clean, I even found an old chocolate bar under the bed. The shower didn't fit in its fixture so you had to hold it and water pressure very low. They had nowhere to store luggage so just asked you to leave it in the hall way. it took them 25 minutes to find my booking. They gave me a bare ironing board with a bed sheet to iron on and the iron's wire was fixed with some tape which had started to come away.

Awful hotel - we did not stay there and checked into another hotel. Pictures DO NOT show what this hotel is actually like. Despite staff saying if we got in touch with manager over email we still haven't heard and it's been a week. Not impressed
