Historic but uncomfortable
Pros: beautiful art deco era building with what looks like original furniture and fixtures in good location. Nice staff.
Cons: uncomfortable mattresses, no in-room boiling water pot, no in-room coffee, no window screens, no shampoo/conditioner/soap/lotion dispensers.
Common area (former bar) has useless coffee machine and nonsensical wall decor; would be better converted to a for-purchase snack bar with old pictures of Buenos Aries on walls and no stupid tiny plastic-cup coffee machine.

No cold water in the morning so impossible to take a shower. On my way out at 7.15 AM i told the manager the problem, he assured me he ll contact expedia for a refund but it was a lie.
Telling me also that i should have contact him before and he would have my room changed, at 6h30 in the morning when you have to catch a cab for an airport, changing room to take a shower is not ideal
so don t believe them

Incorrect address, comfortable stay
The hotel is not in the indicated address on hotels.com. It is formerly known as the Promenade hotel, which is still on the front of the establishment. The correct address is 443 Manuel Taurcoto I believe. Other than that issue it was a good stay. The staff stated they have only been opened for 2 weeks so if you are a guest be patient with them.
