Filthy Room / Disappointment
Hotel seemed nice upon arrival. Staff was nice and friendly upon check in. But our supposed Deluxe King Room was a filthy disappointment! It smelled the walls were dirty furniture was not wiped down we had to clean & disinfect with our own clorox wipes. The clinture was poop on the bathroom wall next to the toilet paper holder. This was to be a nice relaxing bday trip for the wife. And instead my wife was grossed out to say the least...I spent our quality time cleaning the place down, to make sure it was up to our standards and disenfected. She didnt want to stay let alone sleep there. But we were stuck having been charged up front for our 2 night stay plus 100 dep. for damages & incidentals. So we asked for fresh linens & towels. We also took pictures of the broken bathroom mirror off the hindges. Definately not the type of accomodations were used to down the road. We were given some kind of points to compensate. But we wont be going back to this La Quinta....Beware :(

Room was novice and large, it was west facing and took forever to cool down. Bathroom mirror was filthy, We were on 3 rd floor, but kids were running and slamming doors till 2 am, a bay cried almost all night, and this morning dog poop in the hallway. Very poor choice for breakfast. Overall terrible.
