Hotel ILUNION Barcelona, Barcelona

We stayed for primavera sound and the week leading up to it. The area is very nice with lots of options for food and fairly easy access to tourist attractions via public transportation. We got a room facing away from the closest construction site right next to the hotel, so we could sleep with a window open. However, there seems to be construction all around. The bed was large and very comfortable. The shower had great pressure and temperature control. Shampoo, shower gel, and 1 bar of soap provided, but bring your own conditioner, lotion, etc if you need it. Housekeeping was great in accommodating our jet lag and festival sleep schedule. Our refrigerator didn’t work, and we were told it was only meant for two bottles of water. Two small bottles were provided whenever the room was cleaned but not initially. We had them freeze a big bottle of tap water in the kitchen freezer and the block of ice seemed to keep stuff cool in the minibar, which really functioned as a cooler rather than a fridge. The pool was small and very cold, but I’m guessing it’s nice during the summer. Except for the construction noise on weekdays, it was a nice place to relax and sunbathe.

We liked this hotel. Quite modern, very clean and well kept.

Very nice hotel right in the heart of Poblenou. Just 1 block away from great restaurants and bars. The hotel is is great condition with a nice buffet breakfast available. Rooms are quite comfortable.

Bed sheet needed a change but otherwise everything else was fine.
