Very Nice but watch your bill for parking charges.
The Intercontinental Boston is a very nice hotel. It is on the Boston waterfront, near the Green-way, about half way between the North End and the Seaport District. Parking can be a big issue in Boston. The Intercontinental has underground parking which is a plus in Boston. Parking in downtown Boston is not cheap. The cost to park at the hotel is $44 for 24 hours. I probably would have given the hotel a 5 if it were not for the parking folks. The parking is run by a different company. When I got home I reviewed my invoice and noticed that I was charged for two days of parking even though I was only at the hotel for about 18 hours. I called immediately and was told I would receive a call back but didn't. I called a second time a few days later and John told me that he had called the parking guys but no one returned his call. He finally got back to me the next day and said they would reverse the charge. When I was checking out, I tried to write my in and out dates on the parking receipt but the attendant told me not to that he would take care of it and it would be billed to my room. Well, he took care of it all right. This is a very fine hotel and would highly recommend it with the caveat to keep a close eye on the parking guys.
