Worth a stop over
Nice place for a stop over or a few days stay. Very clean and modern. Lots of restaurants and shopping closes by. Friendly staff ready to help if needed. Breakfast is the usual selection for the Holiday Inn offering.

Horrible experience
My girlfriend and I wanted to get away for the weekend. I’m a special education teacher and she’s a bus driver. On top of the stressful jobs we both have, my girlfriend just experienced a death in her family and has been going through a difficult time. We needed to get away and take a break from stress and all the hustle and bustle we’ve both experienced and had to get through both in our professions and in our lives. We chose this hotel because they had a room with a hot tub in it. I wanted to splurge and get the best room available. About an hour before we were going to check in, I got a phone call from the hotel staff saying that our room with the hot tub was not available and out of service. The hotel representative said she would move us to a basic room and it would be nice and quiet. When we got to our room, there was a large red stain in the carpet, I found out that it was wet and sticky the hard way when I stepped on it without my shoes on, there was another gross, sticky spot that I stepped in a few hours later. To make matters worse, the breakfast was cold and it seemed like we had to eat the left overs. When we checked out, the hotel staff would not work with me on any additional discounts and seemed to not really care about my concerns. I am very disappointed with my experience at this hotel and will not be back!! I was hoping for a great hotel experience, but got anything but.

Usual comfort we expect from HIE!
Two king beds for the same price as other rooms was amazing. Room was big and comfortable. Our main door and bathroom door were both getting stuck on the floors but otherwise everything was really nice. Breakfast was great as always.

Hidden fees and lazy employees.
We stayed for three days, room was cleaned once, towels and trash were changed out ONCE. The maids in the hallway seemed more intent on playing on their phones and listening to drake loudly than doing their actual job. Also there was a 100 dollar charge put on my card that I DID NOT APPROVE, and when I asked about my stolen money they said it would take up to five days to return my money. I would avoid this hotel.
