Worst Stay Ever.
This was the worse hotel stay I have ever been on in my 50 years on this earth. I booked 4 rooms and when I checked I was told they only had me down for 2 rooms. We have to double up on the 2 rooms they gave me. I paid for 4 but only received 2. The hotel was infested with mice throughout. When customer service called the front desk the attendant told her that 2 of my party did not show up and that they had the other 2 rooms. I believe the sold the other 2 rooms. I also believe this is a scam they play when people don't know better. I will never ever stay at this hotel again in my life and will not recommend them to anyone.

terrible experience
The location of the hotel is good. Everything else is terrible. Many rooms share one small bathroom. Small rooms, old and small elevator. Difficult to find a wall outlet to charge phones.

4th of July weekend
I've seen plenty of terrible reviews of this place. From bugs and uncleanliness to thievery and unmannered staff. I saw nothing of the sort. I went with my husband and our 2 kids and we had an en suite rooms the wifi worked all the way on the 7th floor ( they said they had a router on every floor) so no issues there either. The staff was super friendly and ready to help give directions on a whim, upon realizing that I was a nyc native they chuckled and left us to our own devices as far as knowing how to get around . The location is amazing. It's walkable to Central Park and the 93rd st playground that's within Central Park is great for families. Walkable to the children's museum of Manhattan and a stones throw away from the 96th street express station! My room was clean and when I had issues ( no wash rags needing new towels etc, they promptly came up and addressed the issue. I'd definitely stay here again considering its proximity to many awesome things and how well of a stay we had. It may be a hostel but when you have an en suite you'd never know!

small room but good customer service
All of the people working there were super nice and really tried to accommodate your every need. The issue that I had is that there was one shared bathroom for the whole floor. The floor was constantly wet but at least it wasn't dirty. The room was as small as a walk-in closet and so it felt a little suffocating. The hotel was in a nice neighborhood close to good restaurants which was great.
