8/10 Very good

GREAT LOCATION - Helpful staff
We are a couple who came to Sapporo in February to see the snow festival. A huge plus about this hotel is central location and the fact that we could access it from the Sapporo train station without having to step outside in the winter cold. Simply go down to the underground shopping mall and make your way toward Odori Park. Enter the hotel near Exit #8. Odori Park, where the snow festival is held, is only about a block away. The hotel's buffet breakfast was very nice, serving a variety of Japanese and western foods. The concierge desk was great, especially a young lady named Ms. Shimizu, if I recall correctly. We wanted to reserve a private onsen bath at the Nonokaze resort at Lake Toya that we were going to visit in a couple of days, but the resort requires that you reserve the experience in advance of arrival. I could not do that by phone due to my weak Japanese language skills. The young lady at the concierge desk called the resort for me and made the reservation. We were extremely grateful to her for that service. In fact, we bought her a box of chocolates to say thank you. All in all, we had a great stay.
