Best hotel in Prague
Everything in this hotel was fantastic. The room is very clean and big. The breakfast is the very best ever. The service is really good. Extremely well located. Price is fantastic. But exchange rate is not the best.

It grew on me
The room decor/layout was a little strange/sparse, but ultimately met our needs well. One desk clerk at check in was a little rude; customs was backed up due to computer problems, and by the time we came through, the driver had left. The clerk seemed angry with us, as though we had wanted to fly all night long, wait in line for 2 hours, and then have to figure out a new plan to get to our hotel. Everyone else was pleasant enough. The water temperature in the shower fluctuates constantly and dangerously. It was a challenge for our autistic son to use safely. Since there's no tub, I recommend avoiding if traveling with small children. For older kids/most adults, it's annoying, but not enough to avoid staying here. BUT: The room was spotless, the continental breakfast was extensive, the location is perfect. Easy walking to pretty much everything. Fun and safe neighborhood, just far enough from Old Town Square to not be too loud at night. The nicer desk clerk gave us a great recommendation for a local restaurant.

Perfect location - very friendly and helpful staff
Two rooms were booked for three family members, my 82 year old parents and brother. Brother was supposed to be their guide and had the intl cell phone, etc., but he was delayed a couple days due to passport issues. This hotel went above and beyond in helping me communicate with my parents via email, so they and we were assured things would all work out. They gave great restaurant recommendations. Hotel was walking distance to the key highlights, in a safe area, rooms clean. Definitely recommend!

Nice hotel in great location
An older hotel in good conditions. We stayed here twice in a week, 2 different rooms (took a trip to Berlin during the wee4k). The location of the hotel is perfect for sightseeing. Most places within walking distance. Rooms are clean and spacious. Service very good the front desk folks are helpful and friendly. The breakfast spread was excellent, lots of choices and delicious food (we ate there 4 times). The only issue we had was with the second room we stayed in. There is an odor in the bathroom that looks to be from the shower drain. Quite strong and if we were not there for more than a day and 2 nights we would have asked them to change us to another room. Oh also we feel that we can leave things in room without worrying about thefts (their safe was too small for our laptops)

Massive room
I requested a quiet room when booking as I was concerned about noise being right in the old town. They gave me the most amazing suite with its own living room and large bathroom facing the inner court yard and I didn’t hear a sound except for the beautiful church bells. However the side street the hotel is on is very quiet so I feel it’s not an issue facing the street. The breakfast was a huge buffet catering to different ethnically preferences. Room was clean and the location excellent with everything in a short walking distance. Two thumbs up!

Perfect location, spacious rooms.
We stayed for 3 nights at the hotel. 3 adults and 2 kids in a suite with a king and queen bed. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is located literally in the center of everything in prague, within 3-5 min walk to lamdmarks, next to great restaurants, stores, and bars. Yet, it wasnt noisy at all because of the double windows. The breakfast was really good with great staff helping at all times. The concierge staff went above to help us book tours and transportation. They were incredibly helpful. The only downside to a perfect stay was the door in the shower, which was rather small, but totally workable. I 100% recommend this place.

Would not recommend unless....
Good location. Easy walk to Old Town Square. Rooms were spacious but housekeeping was not very good. Our bathrooms had sticky floors when we arrived. In our second room the shower kept flooding the bathroom and the room! Archaic room keys. Only one per room. We got locked in! I would not recommend this place unless they update the rooms and improve housekeeping.

Good stay
Nice hotel. Open and airy. Breakfast was amazing with a HUGE variety including Czech specialties. Our family room was very large and had space for a little living area. Staff were nice enough except for a little blonde cleaning lady who yelled (no, I am not exaggerating) at us for eating pound cake in the seating area which is located in the breakfast room. The hotel is located in a central location, quite close to the old town square which is the best neighborhood for a tourist visiting Prague for the first time. FYI, we stayed in Prague for 5 nights (4 full days) which was too much. I recommend 3 full days ( which includes a side trip to kutna hora or the Karlštejn palace). Apparently, the karlstejn palace trip is better than kutna. We only went to kutna which was fascinating. PS: English was limited among staff at this hotel and Prague in general, so be prepared with your translation app.
