Great location, cute hotel.
The hotel was just a few blocks away from the train station and within walking distance of every major attraction. The breakfast was enjoyable and the woman who served breakfast and the hotel maid were delightful and pleasant. The only downside was the internet - it was very slow and it made it impossible to upload pictures. The shower was the usual kind one finds in modest hotels in Italy that leaves puddles on the bathtub floor. However I would definitely stay here again if I were offered the same reasonable prices.

Cozy hotel
Friendly staff. Near all atractions. Room a bit small. Nice size bathroom.

Tito, Angela and Rita are the main reason we keep coming back. They fell like family after 3 consecutive years of staying at the Hotel Opera Roma. The morning breakfast is phenomenal. Nothing fancy but Italian elegance. The cappuccino is a must. Thank you Angela and Rita.

Very convenient location
This hotel is very conveniently located. Smack dab next to the Opera House, it's only two blocks from the Republicca metro station and just about 5-6 blocks from Termini Station. The room was perfectly fine and the bathroom was above average. (I have visited some hotels in Rome where the showers are obscenely small; that was not the case here.) The front desk staff are all pleasant and helpful. The only real negative is that the breakfast is mediocre at best and the attendant couldn't be more standoffish and unfriendly. Still, all in all, a very solid choice, especially given how reasonable the room rates were.

OK for an overnight stay in a small room
Just OK. Our room was the smallest out of a travel group. We had to trade rooms with a single person to obtain a larger bath area and room. Ours was the only room that didn't receive maid service. Also, our initial contact with the desk clerk and breakfast area attendant was disheartening. The desk clerk was somewhat curt, and not very friendly at first. The female café attendant had a visible scowl on her face, and seem annoyed that we were sent to her workspace with bags, while waiting for the status of our rooms. Their tune change the following day, probably after I talk to the friendly night clerk.
