We stayed here a few years ago when it was Now resorts and the stay was much better. I think they must have just reopened and filled the pools because they were freezing cold. They told us we had access to the secrets property next door but the bartenders kept refusing us drinks randomly, sometimes they would serve us, other times they would tell us it was just for secrets guests. The shows at secrets were not good. When it was Now resorts they had an entertainment crew that was there all day and made people feel involved and they would be at the shows helping people get involved and enjoy the shows. Dreams does not have that and the shows were very kid oriented. The shows at secrets were much better so we ended up going to those. We made dinner reservations with the concierge at the steak house ahead of time. When we showed up we were told the restaurant was closed for a private event so we had to go wait over an hour to get into a different restaurant. The eclipse nightclub at secrets was a blast and the bartenders there were amazing. We definitely won’t stay at dreams again, a small possibility we might stay at secrets. Most likely we will go back to breathless for when it’s just me and my wife and stay at palladium when we bring the kids. This was our 5th trip to the Dominican Republic and this resort was one of the most expensive we have stayed at. Definitely not worth the extra money. The water in the tub and shower kept going hot and cold.
