At first, everything seemed fine. Everyone was nice. Initially, the only thing that bothered me was the shower. The water directly from the tap was hot, which is why it was very strange when I turned the shower on and the water was barely warm. It took a while for me to realize that the shower and only the shower was regulated to the point that you couldn’t even take a decent shower (usually the only positive thing about staying in a hotel for work is that you have a hot shower to look forward to). Then I started noticing other things. German cockroaches in our rooms and outside of the building, black mold under the sink, and a very inhospitable staff (minus one very kind man who did his best to show excellent customer service). We reserved our room through Expedia, which means when you extend via Expedia you still have to check-in. I didn’t know this initially because the lady at the desk just re-checked us when we came in late from work once maybe twice. I don’t know what happened after she did this, but I’m assuming she was reprimanded for. So when we tried to check in after extending our stay, we were met with the worst attitude from her. She said I had no common sense and if we did this again they would take all of our things including our pet. She laughed in my face when I asked why she couldn’t tell me this without so much animosity. Overall the stay was terrible and I do NOT recommend this hotel.
