One overnight in Old Montreal. The service was great with valet parking and helping with taxi service. Restaurant attached to hotel was awesome for dinner and breakfast in in the morning. No coffee or tea in the room, only downside.

A great time mid winter
Was traveling with my teen daughter just for a few days to explore Montreal and wasn't sure whether or not to stay in a hotel downtown or in the old city. Very happy we decided to lend a little more to stay at the Auberge du Vieux Port. The old city was lively even during a large snowstorm whereas downtown was completely dead like a ghost town. Montreal can feel bleak at times and staying somewhere warm and welcoming like the Auberge du Vieux Port was great. The restaurant though was not as good as I had expected and room service was spare but my daughter loves their breakfast crepes.

Wonderful service with beautiful furnishings
Where to even begin. We started off our stay with a rather odd request (here's a hint: we jokingly asked for a framed picture of a certain celebrity in the "additional requests" section). They complied! We walked in and immediately noted the picture and the tulips my girlfriend had requested in advance. It was lovely. As it was also my birthday; I was pleasantly surprised with a note and macarons on the bedside table. It's things like this that show an attentive and personalized attention to details and customer comfort. The rainfall shower was luxurious and the bed--incredible. I would go back for the mattress comfort alone (what do they put in those things? Venus's hair?). Each day we were greeted by a lovely reception staff, and the accompanying restaurant had some delicious choices (note from an American: poutine is amazing). The hotel left little, if not nothing, to be desired. I hope to return to the hotel (and beautiful Montreal) someday soon.

Beautiful , but....
Really nice and helpful staff. Rooms are very clean and beautiful. Hotel is located on the major street and railroad nearby, it could be very loud even at night time. Also you can hear your neighbors thru common vents and not well isolated ceiling. Also noticed that hardwood floor in the 5th floor room was seriously slanted. Had to relocate from 1st floor to 5th in search of peaceful night.
