5-Star Getaway
5-Stars!! This is a great find! The property was lovely, in a convenient location, quiet and walking distance to several restaurants and shopping. We did the typical Sunday winery stops on the Silverado Trail and wanted to spend the night in Calistoga. The room was a good size with air conditioning for a 95 degree heatwave and a full size bathroom. The full homemade breakfast was a delicious bonus.

Great amenities in cozy BNB
This was a really great spot right at the beginning of the main street in Calistoga. It is a very cute and quaint BNB. Our room was cozy clean and quiet and the bathroom was super spacious the high light being the jacuzzi bathtub which was wonderful. A couple nice touches were complementary tawny port in the roomand comfy robes. There was a little fridge stocked with water just outside the room. Im not sure if its always the case but we didnt see any staff there at all not even for check in or check out but there were free wine and snacks in the main living room area and breakfast the next morning. Great spot for couples.

Very Good8.0
Last minute getaway
Booked last minute didn't know what to expect. Was pleasantly surprised. First impression, we were worried about the location, off a busy road next to a barbecue. We had a very quiet night and the location ended up being very convenient. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff. My husband & I would stay here again. Added to a nice and much needed getaway.

Cozy gem in Calistoga
This was a business trip/couple getaway, and if you've ever been on one of those you know they're basically doomed by design. But The Craftsman Inn actually managed to salvage ours with the understated elegance of its well-accommodated rooms and the warm, unobtrusive hospitality and keen attention to detail of its owners and staff. We had an after-hours check-in, which included fresh cookies and a decanter of sherry in our room. The private, furnished balcony was just big enough for two to enjoy a glass of wine and some brisk fresh air before heading in to soak up the in-room jacuzzi tub. Breakfast, which is served buffet style downstairs in the communal dining room, was delicious, plentiful and reinforced with free make-your-own mimosas. From the bottles of cold water next to the bookshelf in the upstairs hallway to the chocolates and truffle on the bar with the house wine, this cozy, convenient B&B was a welcome respite from the bitter cold and damp of the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. The nightlife in Calistoga isn't too dynamic — it is wine country after all — but if you enjoy good food and drink, you'll find more than few mid to high-priced bars to to while away the (relatively) wee hours. And then there's always the sherry in the room!
