Friendly Staff, Great Location, True Amsterdam.
Great hotel, friendly staff and a great location. To know: it is a 4 story hotel, however, the elevator only goes to the third floor. There is no A/C, however, the weather was perfect to leave the windows open and the fan on. The shower did not have a shower will put some water on the floor when in use. The hotel is currently upgrading their bathroom lighting which was poor during my stay.

Great location and staff!
Great staff! Loft was great, very spacious and designed well. Great location! Right on the tram line. The staff is really great, so helpful and take a lot of time to help you. We had a great time!

Nice and modern hotel
We stayed in one of the family rooms (lofts) which was quite spacious (40m2), clean, well equipped and with modern furniture. The sleeping sofa was a bit small for our children (11 and 14) but the rest of the room was very nice. Staff at the reception was very nice and helpful. The hotel is located just some 100 m away from the scenic part of Amsterdam with the canals, restaurants and bars but the room was well isolated. The only negative with the location was the tram that gave some vibration late evening/ early morning. We will very likely return when we visit Amsterdam again!

Perfect loft room
Amazing stay. I had read the reviews about snooty staff, but found this to be totally untrue. Everyone I met was incredibly helpful and friendly. We stayed in one of the lofts (loft2) and it was the best studio-style hotel room I've stayed in. The room was uber stylish, but comfortably designed. Bed was comfy, and the sofa bed even comfier. Three adults stayed there with not issues- the design gives everyone privacy and their own space. Also what's nice is that the toilet is in a seperate room from the shower, making mornings easier! Street parking is very easy, but very expensive. But staff emailed me recommendations for cheaper solutions. The neighborhood is nice, but quiet. Transport into town was super easy, and about a 15 walk to the Rijksmuseum.

Good, almost great hotel in a good location
Good location if you want to be a little away from the all-night drinking/smoking/red light tourist parts of Amsterdam. Two tram stops in front of hotel, very convenient to get into city center (#4 tram) or across town (7/10 trams). Ten minutes walk to museums, 20 minutes to Dam Square. Hotel is a little odd - three separate buildings, one of which (the Lofts) you have to go outside and around the corner through a separate entrance. But the lofts are really, really nice rooms, even though there is no lift in the building (66 steps to the top floor, carrying luggage). Breakfast is okay, half a step below typical European breakfast. Staff are very nice and helpful, but it seems like their knowledge level and the services offered are just a step away from being a really good tourist or business hotel.
